Consultations
If you’re feeling overwhelmed, you’re not alone. Not sure where to start? It’s okay to ask questions. Book a complimentary consultation.
This is the first step! We can connect over the phone or video chat
We will talk about your child’s strengths and areas of need
You have the opportunity to tell us your concerns and ask questions
Screenings
We provide developmental screenings as a precursor to our evaluations. These screenings are not formal evaluations but, rather, provide us with a general idea whether your child needs an evaluation.
Screenings last approximately 30 minutes
Includes a structured tool to check your child's speech and language skills
Includes informal screening measures such as spontaneous conversation, observation through play, checklists
Parents are provided with the screening results as well as recommendation for an evaluation, treatment, and/or referral to another professional
Our Approach to Therapy
A child-led approach is key to fostering connection and development. Engaging through play, conversation, and meaningful interactions helps strengthen the bond with your child. A nurturing home and supportive community also play vital roles in promoting growth.
By practicing intentional and mindful communication, these early back-and-forth exchanges set the stage for a child’s success and healthy development.
Evaluations
We provide comprehensive evaluations of speech and language disorders. Afterward, we’ll talk about recommendations and make a plan tailored to your child.
Evaluations of strength and movement for eating and talking
Evaluations of sounds and speaking or understanding language
Informal assessment measures such as observation, dynamic assessment and criterion referenced tools
Parent/caregiver interview and discussions
Evaluation report with summary of findings, therapy goals, and treatment recommendations
